Hello! My name is Aida, and I’m a math tutor with over 30 years of experience working with students in grades 1 through 7, based on the Russian math curriculum. I offer personalized online lessons, carefully designed to help each student succeed — whether they’re catching up, keeping up, or moving ahead.

?? Lesson Format:
All lessons are conducted online via MS Teams or Zoom (or another platform of your choice). I use a virtual whiteboard, interactive tasks, visual aids, and screen sharing to keep lessons dynamic and engaging. Students are encouraged to actively participate, ask questions, and think critically.

?? What Happens During a Lesson:

We start with a brief review to reinforce previous material

Then move on to a new topic, explained clearly and step-by-step

We work through practice problems together

I assign short, focused homework (if needed) to strengthen understanding

? My Approach:
I believe that every child can succeed in math with the right support. I focus on developing logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence. I adjust the pace and methods based on the child’s needs — whether they need extra help or are ready for advanced challenges.

?? Lessons are conducted in Russian and English, and I often connect math topics to real-life examples to make learning more relatable and fun.
