My tutoring experience was dependent on the material provided by the university -or the professor in charge of the module-, and the weekly time that my contract states. Nonetheless, I was able to reach as many students as I could, and I was always available to support who ever needed it during the semesters I tutored.
Independently, I can provide multiplicity of methods and activities, depending on the student(s) I will be tutoring. First, I meet the student(s) to get an idea of their preferences, and then I can adapt my method(s) accordingly, so that the tutoring experience is both enriching and fun as much as possible for the student(s) and myself.
I do not provide the content by myself. I would rather it is provided by the student(s), so that I know exactly what the student(s)' aims, objects, and capacity for the tutoring process. People require, look for, need different things from what they aim to learn. Hence, content is better provided by them. Or at least we can decide it together after the introductory meeting.
Currently, I can provide flexibility regarding the time of the tutoring sessions. So, this is negotiable with the student(s). I am also flexible regarding the set-up of the sessions, either face-to-face or online.
Finally, I can provide tutoring lessons in mathematics, English, and Arabic to different age levels from middle-school up to fresh college students, and in some cases adults. I have very good communication skills, and communicating with different age-groups should not be an issue.
